DOWNLITE is one of the largest suppliers of luxury down bedding in the United States. Our customer base is a who's who in retail. But our genesis as a company came in the form of a feather processor. After all, great comforters and pillows are the result of using the finest raw materials available. So before we made our first piece of down bedding, we mastered the art of feather processing.

Our facilities can process almost any fill required by our clients. Whether you want a 600FP grey duck down with 80% down clusters, or a 600FP white goose down with 85% down clusters, we can handle any rating. Our sorting machines and vast assortment of raw materials allow DOWNLITE to produce almost any kind of fill imaginable. When a customer places an order for washed and processed down, we take the order and determine which raw materials are required to produce that fill. It is like creating a recipe. After coming up with our formula, we run a test load to make sure our recipe is correct. We use both an in-house lab and IDFL to make sure the processed test load meets or exceeds the customer's specifications. When it is confirmed that the test load is correct, we process the entire order.
