Apparel and Sleeping Bags

The jacket and sleeping bag industry is one of DOWNLITE's biggest areas of business in its Bulk Division. We supply this industry in three ways.

1. DOWNLITE ships USA washed and processed down to Asia.
2. DOWNLITE ships Taiwanese washed and processed down to Asia.
3. DOWNLITE ships Chinese washed and processed down throughout Asia.

Each option offers a wide variety of benefits to meet almost every customer's needs.

The USA washed and processed down can offer fill powers up to 900FP. From the time we receive the order until the time the down reaches the intended manufacturer is approximately 6 to 8 weeks. Many of our customers prefer USA washed and processed down because of favorable importation laws in China. USA washed and processed down that will be exported from China in a jacket or sleeping bag eliminates the need for VAT paperwork.

The Taiwan option offers the same VAT paperwork advantage as USA washed and processed down, but with shorter lead times. Orders will generally arrive at the intended destination within 3 to 4 weeks of placing the confirmed order. Quality is not sacrificed at our Taiwan factory. We regularly import all qualities of European down that llows us to make goose downs with fill powers as high as 750FP.

Our Nanjing, China facility iwas built in 1999, this factory is state of the art, with full washing and processing equipment designed to meet almost any fill type request. The advantages to using our Nanjing facility are very short lead times, smaller minimum quantities, and excellent quality. All fill qualities, up to 750FP, are available from the Nanjing factory.

Reguardless of which option you choose, all of our factories guarantee the quality of the shipments. An IDFL pre-shipment test report is provided for all orders over 200 kgs.
